When to Visit

Between October and May, the temperatures in Tunis stay within 12 to 28 degrees, making it the most pleasant time for tourists, with wild flowers painting the countryside in bright colours between March and May. The beaches are best between October and December, presenting the tourist with gentle sunshine and waters that are not too cold. The remaining period ranges between warm and very hot, but there are several major cultural events – like the Carthage festival and the Dougga festival – conducted during the summer.
